He indeed went back. Yesterday. And he came back full of adrenaline and with a bit of a guilty face. He had bought a car. Actually he had bought the second car they brought into the auction room, but it wasn't the car we had actually looked at. You really need to look into the cars as they are not in the best condition and are quite old. He simply liked it and when he heard the low bid he found himself rising his hand (so he says) out of pure excitement. He also thought other people would bid on the car, but nobody did. Ooops, the car is mine! (he thought). So now we have the second car. An old '99 Saab.
My main question was, but did you check it before? Not really, not at all. He hadn't even seen it that day. He simply liked it. In his defense, he had seen it and had a look at it one of the previous times he had been to the car auction. The guys in this car auction already welcomed him as a regular! At least we know the car runs as they drove it in and out of the auction room.
It certainly has the looks, but will it do the job? Check it out:
As of today, Adam's entry to car auctions has been denied/forbidden for obvious reasons.
P.S.: Adam woke up today at 7.oo am worrying about the new car and whether it'd pass the inspection.

¡Me encanta!
Besos
I understand the adrenaline rising when you are at a car auction. I have been to one of those in the UK. I was quite impressed by how people can decide so quckly and gamble on a car. But now I understand! People do rise their hands without thinking, don't they? That can explain.
Hope it will run well!!
Well done, cuñao! Saab is a great choice! Can I have one too?
The car passed the inspection. No problems for the moment.
