Speaking "the" English

This is how Adam mocks the Spanish accent when speaking English, even when I never ever make that mistake. ;)

Yesterday Lúa corrected Adam's English for the first time, while she was speaking in Spanish. She only corrected a specific word he had said. This is just the beginning. I am sure she will soon start correcting both of us. She will try to change Adam's Britishness (if that word exists).

Before the linguistic incident, Lúa had her first direct experience with a boy her age. He is one of Adam's colleague's son. Dereck, his mama and his very young auntie came to the mini-pool to play with Lúa. They had fun. Both played a lot in different ways: Dereck, the boy, was chatting all the time and Lúa played with him in silence. But they understood each other. At the end, Lúa was starting to loosen up. It was cool to see.

After their visit, it is when Lúa corrected Adam. Wait and see, daddy!
